The smaller set of numbers is called the "Lunar Calendar". The dates are counted based on cycles of the moon phase.

Thanks hotieuta for this awesome calendar ^_^

Vietnamese and the Chinese New Year in lunar calendar. The problem you ask me is lunar. This year the Vietnam New Year right on Valentine 14-2.

2010 is Tiger year. Vietnamese is "Canh Dần"

Invite you to the Vietnamese to welcome the lunar new year!

So I guess the Chinese Lunar Calendar is the same as the Vietnamese one? :unsure2:
At the very least they must be quite similar, as they both have the new year starting on the 14th of February 2010 and both are celebrating the year of the Tiger?!! :o

Yeah, I believe the Chinese Lunar Calendar is similar to the Vietnamese one ^_^ And yes, Chinese and Vietnamese New Years are both celebrated on the same day, and each year with a specific animal ^_^
